Practical tips for taking good care of your car

Regular maintenance keeps everything running smoothly

Make sure your car is serviced regularly. This is important not only for your safety and the safety of others, but also to prevent bigger problems.  How do you know when it’s time? In most cases, your board computer will tell you. You can also check the maintenance guide in your car.

Make an appointment for maintenance

An appointment for maintenance or a technical intervention is handled by the LeasePlan booking line. Enter your request online on My LeasePlan.

For the quick services below, no appointment is needed, you can immediately take contact yourself with a service centre registered by LeasePlan:

  • Add liquids (oil, coolant, windscreen washer liquid);
  • Add AdBlue;
  • Replace a light bulb;
  • Replace windscreen wipers

However, we advise you to take contact with the centre of your choice on before hand to check the best moment to pass by in order to avoid long waiting times. Find a registered service centre here

Recall actions go out from the manufacturer of the make of your car.  Whenever you receive an invitation for a recall action, you can immediately take contact with the official make dealer.

Major repairs may take some time. But that doesn’t mean you have to change your plans! Depending on your contract, you might be able to get a replacement car.
