A strong Chinese car

The Chinese car brand, NIO, has arrived on the European markets. It brings EV-driving to new dimensions and does it in a convincing way. The first model to be introduced on the Danish market is the ET7, which over 5 meters long, has more than 600 horsepower and almost 600km range on a single charge.

Sensors and cameras make the car safe

NIO has integrated advanced sensors which gives the car a very high level of safety. Besides being equipped with, among others, 33 cameras, the ET7 has the class-leading wheelbase and width. It helps increase the car’s safety and driving on the roads feels solid and uninterrupted.

Pure style comfort in a modern car

The ET7 has elegant lines that float streamlined from front to back, and it becomes inevitable that you’re sitting in a classic and pure style car. But classis and pure style doesn’t mean boring. The car is equipped with modern technology that makes the car smart. The car’s ventilation openings increase the airflow in the cabin, and its smart fragrance and air quality systems keep the cabin clean and refreshing.

The manufacturer hasn’t compromised with comfort. It’s equipped with modern and ventilating seats, elegant armrests, winged headrests, and massage in the seats, which gives ultimate comfort for passengers. It’s meteor-chrome color gives the car a sophisticated and simple look and has microfiber as standard on all surfaces.

Technology, equipment, and range

With NOMI in the center (a digital assistant with a small figure on top of the dashboard), the cabin becomes digital. The car is equipped with a 12.8” AMOLED center display, a 10.2” HDR instrument cluster, a 6.6" rear HDR touch display, and an enhanced HUD system. It has 23 loudspeakers and 1,000 watt and is one of the first cars equipped with the advanced Dolby Atmos sound technology, that gives a special surround sound feeling.

The new ET7 comes with either a 75 or 100 kWh battery, but during 2023 it’s expected that a 150 kWh battery becomes available. With a 100 kWh battery, it has an official expected range of 580km, and charging on a super charger happens with 180 kW. This battery charges from 10 to 80 percent in 40 minutes.

As a bonus info, in just five minutes, drivers can change a fully charged battery on NIOs Power Swap Stations, at which you can choose among the three battery types as you wish.

7.1.4 Soundsystem from Dolby Atmos

Dolby Atmos is delivered as standard. 23 loudspeakers, 20 channel amplifier, and a 1,000 watts output. The system comes with four overhead speakers and a subwoofer. Its four main sound channels each has a three-way speaker containing a tweeter, a mid-range driver and a woofer. The system is driven by Dolby Atmos-technology and leading Dirac Pro systems, that delivers world class sound.
