Our price includes VAT, maintenance, servicing and breakdown cover.
- All refurbishment costs exceeding the £300 threshold.
- Any penalty charge notices including an £35 admin charge.
- All mileage over your agreed mileage allowance, charged at £0.20 per mile.
- Delivery/Collection of £300, this is noted as ‘Admin fee’ on the Payment Summary page. If the hire stays out for 3 months or longer the £300 is refundable
When the vehicle returns to our storage site, a full inspection will be carried out which will highlight all refurbishment work above the fair wear and tear guidelines set out by the British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association (BVRLA). You can view their guide for cars and vans.
If the refurbishment costs exceed the £300 threshold, then the total cost of repairs are chargeable.
You will need to provide a fully comprehensive insurance policy for the vehicle from the moment that you receive it, up until it is collected by our logistic agents.

Report the accident to your insurance provider immediately to start the claim process and vehicle repair.
Our main requirements are that you must:
- Be at least 25 years old.
- Have been a UK resident for at least two years.
- Have held a full UK driving licence for at least 12 months.
You cannot use LeasePlan Flexible Consumer if:
- You have any major driving convictions in the last three years (this means those covered by DVLA offence codes IN, CD, DR, DD, UT, TT, AC and BA).
- You have more than six points on your licence.
- You have more than one CU conviction.
- You have been disqualified from driving in the last five years due to driving offences.
There are four main checks we carry out:
- An identity check.
- A check for points on your driving licence.
- Experian credit check that will show on your credit history.
- An affordability check.
