Net Zero Commitments for UK Public Procurement
LeasePlan UK have prepared a Carbon Reduction Plan (CRP) specific for Crown Commercial Services (CCS). In our plan we detail our commitment to achieving Net Zero by 2050 and how we will reach the target. This takes an Operational Control approach and is in accordance with the scope set out by CCS, excluding type 3 emissions.
Our Carbon Reduction Plan contains
- Our commitment to achieving Net Zero by 2050 across our UK operations
- Details of our baseline emissions that our carbon reductions methods will be measured against
- An overview of our current emissions across scope 1, 2, and a subset of scope 3
- Our emissions reduction targets in CO2e (Carbon Dioxide Equivalent) and progress to date
- Evidence of our carbon reduction measures and those that will be used to achieve Net Zero by 2050
This plan has been approved by LeasePlan’s organisation’s senior leadership within the 12 months preceding the commencement of the procurement, publicised on leaseplan.co.uk website, and updated at least annually.
