I need immediate assistance: If your car is damaged or has broken down and you are unable to continue driving, please call LeasePlan immediately around the clock at 08-470 26 00. Make sure that you, your passengers and if possible the car are in a safe location.

I don't need immediate assistance: If your car is at home, won't start and you don't need immediate assistance, contact us at 08-470 26 00 or via email at skador@leaseplan.com. You can also register an insurance claim by clicking here.

Arrow downWhat is comprehensive and carriage damage guarantee?

Together with the third party liability insurance and own damage partial insurance, the carriage damage guarantee constitutes what is known as full insurance and covers damage due to a traffic accident, other external accident or intentional damage by a third party.

Most new passenger cars are sold with a three-year carriage damage guarantee and it largely corresponds to a comprehensive insurance (sv. vagnskadeförsäkring). Some car makes require that you report the damage to the carriage damage guarantor within thirty days. If you do not, you risk being without compensation for the damage. Also, remember that the deductible may differ between different car makes and models. More information about the carrriage damage guarantee can be found in the carriage damage guarantee terms that come with the car. When the warranty expires, we automatically add our carriage damage insurance (also called own damage full insurance) so that you do not become without full insurance cover.
