Replacement car after damage or theft
Am I entitled to a replacement car while my car is being repaired?
That depends on the coverage of your insurance, or if you have been in an accident with a counter party and your counter party has caused the accident. I'm driving a rental car that has been damaged, what should I do?
You need to contact the station where you picked up the rental car and receive information from them. This damage will not be handled by LeasePlan.
Can I use my fuel card for my replacement car?
Your current fuel card is also valid for your replacement car, regardless of the fuel type. If you drive an electric car, in addition to the charging card, you will receive an extra pass to use for other fuels. For long term rentals, contact LeasePlan on 08-470 26 00 or email@example.com.
I have been in an accident, can I book a rental car without cost?
If you have received a damage notice from the insurance company, you will see if you are entitled to a rental car and which rental car company to use. If a rental car is not included, you need your employer's approval before picking out a rental car.
Why is my replacement car not in the same class as my lease car?
A replacement car is temporary and meant to keep you mobile for a short period of time. For this reason, it may differ in class from your lease car. Generally, you are entitled to a rental car of the same size as your leasing car.
