Easy returns at the end of your contract

When your contract is over, it’s time to say goodbye to your car. Follow the tips below to make the process as worry-free as possible.

Worry-free returns in just a few steps

  1.  
    Preparing for return

    -Make sure the car is clean and remove all your personal belongings.

    -Gather everything that originally came with the car. Like keys, official documents, manuals and accessories.

    -If the car has any damage, report it via MyLeasePlan and make sure that it is repaired before you return the car.

    -Cancel your fuel card (if necessary).

    -Make sure you fill in our return form. You can find it on MyLeasePlan or by clicking here.

    Three ways to return your car

    Collection point
    No matter where you live, there’s a LeasePlan collection point close by. Return your car at one of our Used Car Centres or partner locations. Find a collection point and make an appointment.

    Dealership
    If you get a new lease car at the dealership, you can drop off your old car at the same time. Extra convenience with a single appointment. See how it works.

    Pick up service
    Let us handle returns for you. For €49, we’ll send someone to pick up your car at the location you choose. Request pick up service via MyLeasePlan and we’ll take care of the rest.

  3.  
    Final inspection to check your car’s condition

    After you return your car, an independent party will perform a final inspection. A few scuffs and scratches are just a part of daily use. But for more serious damage, there may be an additional charge.

Need to return your vehicle before end of contract?

Start with talking to your employer. If nothing is stipulated in the Master Lease Agreement your employer might have signed up for an Early Termination Insurance. If you have insurance coverage in place, please fill in the attached form before returning it to us. Thereafter we will get back to you with further information.
