At LeasePlan we are committed to lead responsiveness and fight for drivers’ safetness. That’s why LeasePlan developed Active Prevention, a plan that helps reduce accidents, and lower CO2 emissions while decreasing fuel and damage costs. Additionally, our driver programmes helps your employees improve their driving skills and drive more responsibly.

In parallel, we invest in technology and online tools, such as the Online Office, where drivers can schedule the maintenance and repairs of their vehicle minimizing accident  risk. Or used LeasePlan Assistant, a skill for Amazon Alexa that allows voice access from their mobile to our services while driving, without having to touch the screen or taking their eyes-off-the-road.

The road mobility sector is leading the transformation towards a greener world. At LeasePlan we use our dimension, experience and global presence to be an example. Therefore we aim to reach zero emissions in our fleet by 2030 to submit with the Paris Agreement and the UN Sustainable Development Goals. 

How will we do it? With a strategy based on four steps:

  • Recommend: We cannot change things by ourselves. We work with governments, NGOs, and private sector to address energy, climate, and air quality problems.
  • Educate: We want to extend the use of low-emission vehicles. That’s why we share information about options available, advantages and the best practices of the sector to make sure that consumers and politicians are aware of all the possibilities. Read here some tips for a more efficient driving.
  • Enable: We try to make the transition to electric cars as easy as possible for consumers offering competitive prices, full-service packages and charging stations at home.
  • Lead: We want to lead by example. Encouraging low-emission vehicles for our own employees and partnering with companies that introduce sustainable transportation initiatives.

Respecting the agreements with our customers and employees, encouraging equality and attitudes based on the law compliance is the basis of LeasePlan as a company. We have the obligation to set an example, to bring our leadership in the market to symbolic leadership.

  • We act based on what is signed in our contracts.
  • We collect personal data from our clients uniquely and exclusively for legitimate and specific purposes.
  • We act in accordance with competition regulations and we have specific guidelines.
  • We contribute to reduce health and safety risks related to the services we provide.
  • We are dedicated to preventi and suppress any form of discrimination in the way we mange our business.
  • We avoid contacts or behaviours that may rise or be perceived as a conflict between our business and ethical criteria.
  • We have the certificate of Criminal Compliance Management System, UNE 19601, and Anti-bribery Management System, ISO 37001, with the aim of supporting good governance and responsible management.

    All these initiatives are included in our Conduct Code, a guide where both our employees, partners or clients know how our behavior should be in the business. Our goal is to offer the best mobility solutions adapted to each client, but also encouraging a benefit for society, because improving mobility and safety are values that affect the well-being of all of us.

We work for the people of our organization and the environments in which we find ourselves. Within LeasePlan, we seek that each employee reaches their maximum potential, helping them in their training, and  promote work- life balance to help reconcile work. Externally, we promote different initiatives focused on driving safety and we collaborate with various NGOs, focused on chilhood and vulnerable groups.

Training

  • Workday Learning through our central learning platform. This is available in multiple formats including (pre-Covid) classroom courses, webinars, e-learning, and on-the-job assignments.
  • LinkedIn Learning – an on-demand, video-based learning programme, providing access to 13,000+ courses covering business, creative and technology topics.
  • Personal development programme designed to help high-potential employees progress into more senior roles.

Diversity & inclusion Program

At LeasePlan Spain we are committed with reconciliation of work and family life through different policies and measures, such as offering flexible hours, teleworking or having a transparent remuneration system.

And within these measures, one of the most important is the Equality Plan, implemented in 2010 to guarantee Equal Opportunities at work for men and women. This work has been recognized by the Ministry of Equality, for the first time in 2014 and renewed in 2020, which granted us the Equality Distinction in Companies (DIE)

Contributing to the wider community

We collaborate with various associations to help chilhood and we are very involved in improving road safety, where our most useful knowledge is to save lives.
