Arrow downMy car has been damaged by an unknown counterparty when it was parked. I have received a damage notice that I need to pay deductible. Why?

The requirement for proof of damage caused by another vehicle subject to insurance is very high from the Swedish Motor Insurers' (TFF) side. The driver must be able to prove that the damage has been caused by another vehicle and that this vehicle was in traffic. If these proofs can be met, the deductible will be 5% of a price base amount. Otherwise, the deductible becomes the normal amount for carriage damage guarantee deductible.

Arrow downMust I pay the deductible myself?

We will invoice the deductible to your employer, then it is depending on your car policy whether you will pay the whole excess, parts of it or nothing at all. No deductibles are covered by LeasePlan. Contact your employer for information about how you do.
