The prepaid fuel service means that we include a pre-calculated amount for the fuel account in the leasing rate. This value is based on estimates, which we can usually make very accurately thanks to a large amount of collected data, vehicle-specific data such as consumption, and specific data such as kilometres per year. The actual payments are then accumulated over the entire term and settled 1:1 when the vehicle is returned. Unfortunately, there can also be unpleasant surprises. It can happen that the driver drives many more kilometres than originally planned or that the fuel price increases massively over longer periods. Even if the fuel price has slowly stabilized again, fluctuations of over 35% have been measured over the last few years.

We would like to avoid these surprises. We therefore recommend that you switch to direct debit. This means that the actual costs per month will be charged directly to you.

If you wish to continue to have the amount included in the leasing instalment, we can continue to do so. However, we would still balance the account monthly, based on the actual fuel purchases.

In order not to massively increase the number of invoices, we can change the billing to one invoice per service contract.

You currently have the vignette included in your leasing rate, for which we charge CHF 3.33 per month. After returning the vehicle, we reconcile how much was spent on the vignette and issue a 1:1 statement.

Unfortunately, we will no longer be able to include the vignette in the leasing rate via our new system. We will therefore have to remove the vignette service from your contract. This means that the service will no longer be included in the contract. Your leasing rate will decrease accordingly by CHF 3.33.

However, the vignette can still be purchased by your drivers using a fuel card (if activated). Please contact your key account manager. They can check if the vignette is activated on your fuel cards.

We are also working intensively on implementing a solution for the e-vignette and will then add the service back to our service catalogue as soon as possible and inform you accordingly.

You have currently included the road tax in your leasing rate. As the respective road traffic authorities in Switzerland do not provide any information on official values, the advance payment is based on estimates based on empirical values and collected data. Unfortunately, this can lead to larger additional payments or credit notes when the balance is settled at the end of the lease.

This account is also balanced 1:1 at the end of the lease.

Info: The road tax account also includes amounts such as the costs of the road traffic office for a change of driver or for new license plates.

You can continue to have the road tax included in the leasing rate. In future, however, the settlement will be made annually & no longer at the end of the lease.

As your vehicles are registered to your company, the road tax will be paid directly to your company (by the Road Traffic Office). You must then forward the respective invoices to us before we can process and pay them. As the process is time-consuming and very error-prone, new orders starting from 01.04.2025 will incur a fee for the service. Your key account manager will contact you soon with information on the complete reorientation.

However, we will not charge any fees for the handling of your existing fleet.

You currently have a pre-calculated amount that you pay monthly for the “replacement vehicle” service. If you need a replacement vehicle, e.g. for a longer service appointment, we will settle the bill. This account will also be balanced at the end of the lease. The actual costs are compared with the costs already charged.

Ayvens Switzerland will now offer the Mobility Package. You pay a pre-calculated amount per month and Ayvens assumes the risk.

We would be happy to offer you the Mobility Package starting from April 1, 2025. Not only for new orders, but also for your existing fleet. If you would prefer to phase out the vehicles in the current set-up for the existing fleet and only switch to the Mobility Package for new orders in the coming year, we can offer you this as an interim solution. The systems will be upgraded so that we can do this for the existing fleet.

However, we recommend the Mobility Package to ensure a smooth operational process. Your key account manager will be happy to provide you with further information here.

You have opted for the customer request service. We include a pre-calculated amount in the leasing rate, which can be used, for example, for washing your vehicles. In our new system landscape, we are currently unable to offer this interface in our accounting in the future. The service is therefore not available for the time being.

This means that the service is no longer included in the contract. Your leasing rate will be reduced accordingly by the pre-calculated amount.

Ayvens Switzerland will no longer offer this service in the usual way. However, we are working on alternative offers for new orders via Ayvens Switzerland, such as including the transportation costs for returning the vehicle in the leasing rate. Your key account manager will contact you soon with information on the complete reorientation.

At the moment, you pay interest on the vehicle from the moment it is returned until it is sold. We will waive this in the future and would like to accommodate you. You will no longer pay interest after the vehicle has been returned.

The changes to the products are primarily aimed at all non-cost-guaranteed services. The unpredictability of end-of-lease settlements often leads to large additional charges or credits. In our aim to be a reliable fleet manager, we would like to avoid such surprises. For this reason, there will no longer be this end-of-lease settlement for the above-mentioned services.

To ensure a smooth migration, the above-mentioned accounts must therefore be balanced and settled before the migration. Your key account manager will provide you with the necessary information.

We can already adjust some services in stages from now on, such as a switch from the fuel account to direct debit or the removal of the vignette from the service catalogue. However, some accounts can only be balanced with the migration, e.g. if you continue to have the fuel costs included in the leasing rate.

The changeover to a new system landscape and the migration of two of the world's largest full-service leasing providers will bring some positive changes in the future. The aim over the past two years has been to initiate a smooth and efficient migration. To this end, we have pooled many resources across all business areas in order to bring together the best processes from both companies.
