The collaboration is part of accelerating the transition to fossil-free mobility and reaching LeasePlan's goal of having a completely emission-free vehicle fleet by 2030.

Through the collaboration, charging and handling of the same is simplified for companies that have their vehicle fleet via LeasePlan.

Range anxiety is a well-known concern in the context of electric cars and one of the factors holding back the transition to emission-free cars. With the partnership and Northe's platform, thousands of charging posts from charging operators and infrastructure owners in 18 European countries are made available to both companies and private individuals.

“As one of the world's leading leasing suppliers, LeasePlan is helping to drive the transition to sustainable mobility. We have extensive experience in offering smart digital tools and know what is required for our customers to be able to save both time and money on the cars. The basis of our business concept is that it should be easy to be a customer with us. We obviously want to make it even easier for our customers to switch to fossil-free and choose an electric car instead” says Marcio Hociko, CEO of LeasePlan in Sweden.

On the platform, the user can see prices, availability and pay for their recharge. Companies can in real time monitor and analyze data and costs linked to charging that takes place at home, at the workplace or in the public network.

“The transition to electric drive is in full swing. This means a new everyday life for companies and their employees. The solution we developed with LeasePlan simplifies the management of the charging done in the public network, at the workplace or at home through flexible business accounts” says David Fauné, co-founder and CEO at Northe.

Through a collaboration between Northe and charging box installer Evify, LeasePlan's business customers can also offer their employees to have a charging box installed in their home.

“We entered into this partnership to make it easier for our customers to make smart choices for our planet” concludes Marcio Hociko, CEO of LeasePlan in Sweden.
