Merger between ALD Automotive and LeasePlan – FAQ

Why have I received this letter? You are a customer or supplier of LeasePlan Sverige AB (LeasePlan). LeasePlan intends to undergo a merger with ALD Automotive AB (ALD Automotive), in order to create a stronger company with a wider range of products and an enhanced customer journey.

Do I need to do anything? You do not need to do anything in response to this information letter. Your existing contracts will continue to run according to their terms.

What does this entail for my specific products and services? There will be no immediate changes to your products or services as a result of the letter you have received. Changes that occur on an ongoing basis or because of the merger will be communicated separately.

What does the merger mean for LeasePlan? In May 2023, ALD Automotive acquired LeasePlan on a global level. ALD Automotive, SA has since become Ayvens, SA. ALD Automotive and LeasePlan in Sweden are today sister companies, jointly owned by Ayvens, SA. The purpose of the merger is to further strengthen the company and to improve the products and services it provides.

When is the merger set to take place? The merger is expected to take place in Q1 2025.

Will my ways of contacting you change? For now, the same contact channels that you are used to will continue to apply. You will be informed if or when this changes.
