Hence, Ayvens offers you the Maintenance Contract, a service that allows you to benefit from all the maintenance necessary for the normal functioning of your car in return for a very competitive fixed monthly payment.

In addition, it also has all the experience and know-how of a company which manages more than 100 thousand vehicles in Portugal.

Simple Maintenance

Preventive

Interventions scheduled by the manufacturer (periodic inspection) carried out taking into account the kilometrage and/or frequency defined by the maintenance programme for normal use.

  • Engine oil
  • Engine oil level replenishment between scheduled services up to a maximum total of 2.0 litres
  • Filters: oil, air, fuel and passenger compartment
  • Brake pads/shoes 
  • Brake fluid and power steering fluid
  • Timing belt (only when integrated in a scheduled periodic service)
  • Power steering belt (excluding the respective tensioners)
  • Fan belt
  • Focusing of headlights
  • Light bulbs and fuses 
  • Conventional battery
  • Steering alignment (with minimum intervals of 20,000 km)
  • Wheel Balancing (with minimum intervals of 20,000 km)
  • Antifreeze
  • Gear oil
  • Spark plugs

Complete Maintenance

Preventive and Corrective

With this option, you benefit from maximum coverage so there are no surprises!

  • Engine oil

  • Brake fluid and power steering fluid
  • Timing belt (only when integrated in a scheduled periodic service)

  • Focusing of headlights
  • Light bulbs and fuses 
  • Conventional battery
  • Steering alignment (with minimum intervals of 20,000 km)
  • Wheel Balancing (with minimum intervals of 20,000 km)
  • Antifreeze
  • Gear oil
  • Spark plugs
  • Corrective Maintenance: Parts suffering wear and tear, (all mechanical, electrical and electronic parts/components) e.g.: brake discs, exhausts, shock absorbers, clutch etc. 
  • Repair of any defects: Capable of affecting the normal functioning of the car (same as an Extended Warranty)

Optional: with any of the options, you can include, should you so wish, the replacement vehicle and the tyre service.

Contractual information

Maintenance Exclusions - Windscreen wipers; - Repair of glass, paintwork, bodywork, canvas or hard top, protections, engine guards and bulkheads, upholstery, mats and coverings; - Maintenance and repair of accessories installed by the Customer not provided by the car manufacturer (e.g. cooler boxes etc.); - Special engine tuning; - Fuel and additives; - Oils/Fluids that exceed the specifications required by the car manufacturer; - Tyres, damaged rims, alignments, wheel balances, punctures, damage as well as the replacement of vehicle tyres; - Vehicle cleaning and washing. Contractual exclusions - Repairs resulting from damage or breakdown caused by the fault, negligence or error of the driver; - Repairs carried out at an unauthorised workshop; - Interventions after the vehicle has reached the total contracted kilometrage; - Interventions after the maximum permissible deviation of 3,000 km or 30 days, stipulated by the manufacturer for the occurrence of maintenance services. - Vehicles that are or have been assigned to any of the following activities: rent-a-car; taxi; TVDE (remunerated individual carriage of passengers in ordinary vehicles); driving lessons; competition; Emergency vehicles (military forces, civil protection, fire-fighters, medical emergency), express transport, courier or distribution and cars imported directly by customers; - Repairs resulting from damage or malfunctions caused or exacerbated by acts of war, forces of nature, revolts or civil revolutions, as well as those resulting from accidents or damage arising from acts of vandalism, theft, robbery, explosion, fire (whatever the origin). Customer's Obligations - To carry out vehicle maintenance in accordance with the manufacturer's normal maintenance plan at workshops designated for this purpose, within the network of workshops provided for in the partnership; - When delivering the vehicle to the workshop, customers must identify themselves as having a Ayvens maintenance contract; - To carry out the mandatory periodic inspections, within the legally established deadlines, displaying the respective documents proving the completion and approval of the inspection, whenever Ayvens so requests; - The customer may terminate the contract early as long as a minimum period of 6 months has elapsed, having to give Ayvens 30 days’ notice by recorded delivery with acknowledgment of receipt. If the service has been contracted for a period of less than 1 year, the prior notice will be 15 days; - In the event of early termination, a payment of 200 euros + VAT must be made, plus the negative maintenance balance, where applicable; - Do not force, damage, disconnect or in any way alter the operation of the vehicle's odometer. You must also keep a permanent check on its operability, undertaking to notify Ayvens in no more than 24 hours about any fault detected therein. - In the event of any urgent, unforeseen need for repair of any defect and/or damage likely to affect the normal operation of the vehicle and which results in its immobilisation, occurring at a place where there is no workshop of the authorised network of Ayvens suppliers, or outside office hours, the customer should contact the Driver Assistance line. In the event that a refund is required, the customer must notify Ayvens forthwith and the latter must reimburse it against the respective invoice with the Ayvens NIF (taxpayer number), accompanied by a report justifying the intervention carried out.
