More than a century ago, in 1909, Michio Suzuki founded Suzuki Loom Works in Hamamatsu, Japan. Suzuki’s first invention was a metal and wood floor loom that he created for his mother. Suzuki has established itself as an expert in small cars. However, not all Suzukis are tiny. From the zippy little Celerio to the much larger Grand Vitara, Suzuki lives up to the Japanese reputation for beautiful and efficient design. Besides its range of four-wheelers, Suzuki also designs popular motorbikes and race boats.
