Road tax, repairs, servicing, maintenance and breakdown cover all come as standard and are included in our monthly costs. You just pay for fuel and insurance.

So, how does a LeasePlan car subscription work?

Choose a subscription vehicle When you subscribe to a car with LeasePlan, you pick the make and model of the car you want. Select a subscription length Choose your subscription length from one month to twelve months (with a fixed monthly payment) The rest is simple Whatever option you choose, you can then make a monthly payment that includes the cost of the vehicle, plus all the extras we've highlighted above.

What's included in your vehicle subscription?

What's included in your monthly payments? LeasePlan offers a great service with benefits for all car subscriptions.

The price you pay depends on the length of the subscription, with longer subscriptions generally costing less.

Vehicle Excise Duty is included within your monthly subscription costs.

As part of your subscription, maintenance and servicing are covered at no extra cost.

We include transportation of all vehicles in our subscription service to your chosen address.

No matter the emergency, breakdown is covered with LeasePlan Assist, our comprehensive breakdown and recovery service.

You can cancel at the end of the subscription term, so shorter subscriptions give you more flexibility. (There is likely to be a fee if you return your vehicle before the end of the subscription term).

All vehicles subject to credit and availability, exclude insurance. This is a hire product so you will not own the vehicle. All prices include VAT at 20%, based on a calendar month and 10,000 miles per annum pro rata. Offer pricing subject to change at any time. Images for illustration purposes only. On return the vehicle must be in the same condition as on delivery subject to age, mileage and fair wear and tear excepted. If the vehicle exceeds the contract mileage additional charges will then be applied. All Vehicles supplied with a maintenance package which includes manufacturer recommended servicing and repair caused by fair wear and tear but excludes misuse, accident damage and vehicle glass. Specification, fuel/energy efficiency and emissions figures are correct at the time of publication but are subject to change, please contact the vehicle manufacturer to confirm. *Delivery/collection fee of £300 applies for a subscription below 3 months.

Car subscriptions: getting started

Who is eligible If you're over 25, have a driving licence and don't have any county court judgements, it's likely that you can subscribe. Our eligibility checks include a soft credit check, affordability check and driving licence check. Pick the car you want You're in the driving seat. You'll find a huge range of cars and packages to choose from. Just pick the car you want and you're ready to apply. Applying is easy We need to know a little bit about you to get your subscription set up.

Taking payment We won't take any money from you until you've been approved for the subscription, but we will ask for your card and account details as part of the application. Checking your identity As you might expect, we do have to make sure you are who you say you are, so once you've submitted your application, we will run an identity check.

FAQs about our car subscriptions

What does my monthly subscription price include? Our price includes VAT, maintenance, servicing and breakdown cover.Is there anything not included in my monthly subscription price? - All refurbishment costs exceeding the £300 threshold. - Any penalty charge notices including an £35 admin charge. - All mileage over your agreed mileage allowance, charged at £0.20 per mile. - Delivery/Collection of £300, this is noted as ‘Admin fee’ on the Payment Summary page. If the hire stays out for 3 months or longer the £300 is refundable. On returning the vehicle, how does the refurb work? When the vehicle returns to our storage site, a full inspection will be carried out which will highlight all refurbishment work above the fair wear and tear guidelines set out by the British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association (BVRLA).
