How do I service or maintain my vehicle?

It will be business as usual, so you should continue to book your service and maintenance (including MOTs) through the normal booking line (for contracts with maintenance).

We will continue to suggest a convenient garage or supplier to do the work. If you are on a customer maintained contract, your agreement will stay the same, meaning it will still be your responsibility to service and maintain your vehicle in line with the manufacturer’s recommendations.

I have had a breakdown – who should I contact?

It will be business as usual, so you should continue to call the breakdown and recovery number (if your contract has maintenance included). If you’re on a customer maintained contract, your agreement will stay the same, so it will be your responsibility to arrange breakdown cover unless it’s provided by the manufacturer.

I have had an accident – who should I speak to about my vehicle?

If your contract includes accident management you should continue to call the accident management team. If you do not have accident management please contact your insurer directly.

What will happen at the end of my contract?

Our end of contract policy and processes haven’t changed. Your vehicle will be collected, inspected and any end of contract charges issued in line with existing policy and the BVRLA Fair Wear and Tear guide.

If you’d like to discuss a vehicle extension or new vehicle quote, please contact your customer services team or the partner you sourced the vehicle from.

I’ve ordered a new vehicle, will it still be delivered by LeasePlan?

You’ll continue to be supported by the company you ordered your vehicle through. Your contract will still be with LeasePlan and we are happy to help you with the ordering process.

I’m in the process of ordering a new vehicle. Who should I order with?

Continue to order new vehicles with your current provider – either ALD or LeasePlan. We’ll be happy to help you with the ordering process.

Will the merger impact my current contract?

The merger won’t impact your contract. It will remain the same.

Has my contract been transferred to the new company?

Your contract remains with LeasePlan with no change in the service conditions. LeasePlan and ALD haven’t fully integrated yet and we’ll continue to operate separately for now.

How do I book my end of contact collection?

The end of contract collection process will stay the same for now. Please contact your customer services to arrange this.

My contract is coming to an end soon, which company will handle this?

Your current provider, will continue to handle your end of contract and vehicle return.

Will my fuel card/energy card provider change?

No. Your fuel card/energy card provider will stay the same.

How do I tax my vehicle [VED]?

The current process will stay the same, you’re your lease provider retaxing your vehicle if this is in your contract. If the agreement says that you are liable to tax the vehicle, it will still be your responsibility to make sure the vehicle remains road legal.

Can I still buy used LeasePlan / ALD vehicles?

Customers can buy ALD vehicles through ALD Carmarket or specific BCA auction sales. LeasePlan vehicles can be purchased through BCA under their existing sales programme. Further enhancements to the sales programme will be reviewed in due course.
