We are looking for:

As a Senior Internal Audit Data Analytics Specialist you will primarily design, develop and execute Ayvens Group’s data analytics for and with the team. You are an integral part of the team and work very close with the Audit Manager Data Analytics (also based in Amsterdam). Additionally, you have the ambition to spend a part of your time on IT and / or operational audits, including data-centric audits. This will boost your relationship with other auditors as well as your understanding of processes, systems and data in Ayvens.

The role is reporting hierarchically to the Director Audit (Digital, Transformation and Analytics) in Amsterdam. As we have ambitious plans to perform more data driven audits in Ayvens and similar ambitious plans exist for audits in other businesses under Société Générale, we align periodically with the Data Lab in Paris.

We are a global leader in sustainable mobility with a total fleet of 3,4 million vehicles in over 40 countries. Ayvens is our new brand name, created after LeasePlan and ALD Automotive have joined forces in 2023.

An overview of task and responsibilities in the role:

• Maintain and Update Data Analytics Strategy/Roadmap for Audit: Provide support in maintaining and updating the existing data analytics strategy and roadmap for the audit function.

• Objective Achievement: Collaborate closely with the Audit Manager Data Analytics to achieve objectives outlined in the roadmap. Focus on efficiency, quality, value, and momentum in data analytics efforts.
   
• Third Line of Defense: Design, develop, and execute data analytics initiatives specifically for Ayvens Group’s third line of defense (internal controls and risk management).
   
• Tooling and Source Code Management: Manage tooling and source code related to developed data analytics programs and queries.
• Collaboration and Expert Guidance: Collaborate with auditors and subject matter experts to identify and develop analytic solutions. Provide guidance on interpreting analytics results.

To succeed in this role, you have the following skills and experience:

The colleague we are looking for is able to work in a dynamic international culture. You are committed, reliable, enthusiastic and you are passionate about your job. You are also comfortable in handling confidential information, and you have a high level of integrity.

• University degree, preferably in data / computer science, management information systems, economics, econometrics or related field;
• At least 3 years of data analytics related experience and preferably pertaining to Audit or Risk related roles;
• Well-versed with analytical tools such as SQL, Python, Tableau, Power BI and Spotfire;
• Good understanding of the end-to-end audit process, including risk-based approach. Audit related certifications such as CPA, CIA, CISA are a plus;
• A self-starter and fast learner; someone who can work and learn on his/her own but also share knowledge with the wider team;
• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex findings to stakeholders. Fluent in English, both verbal and written;
• As Ayvens operates in over 40 countries, you are able to go on business trips of 1 to 2 weeks (maximum ~20% on annual basis).
