OBJECTIVE

The Technical Business Analyst will serve as a primary liaison between the LeasePlan business representatives and development teams.  This position is responsible for ensuring the delivered solution meets the requirements of the functional area(s).   Responsibilities include analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, translation of requirements into required capabilities/features and conducting quality assurance testing.    

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Primary liaison between the Business and Scrum Master, LPUS Developers, UX Designer, Reporting and off-shore development team.  Coordinate discussions with functional subject matter experts who will provide significant input in design sessions to ensure the solution supports business needs. Document requirements, capabilities and features for the product. Actively participate in all Scrum ceremonies and Program Increment Planning sessions. Collaborates with Business Process Management and supports the collection of information for creating the “as is” and “to be” processes.   Coordinate and assist in data migration by collecting, mapping, transforming and then loading data from the current legacy system to the digital solution. Coordinate and assist in creating test plans and scenarios for system and user acceptance testing. Coordinate and ensure quality assurance testing is conducted to confirm system meets future-state process requirements and the solution is free of critical defects prior to implementation. Acts as an ambassador of change for the assigned project and partners with the Change Management Network to support project adoption. Responsible for reporting status, issues, risks and impediments to Project Leadership.

LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITY

This position has no leadership responsibilities.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position is located in Alpharetta, Georgia.

POSITION TYPE/STANDARD SCHEDULE

This position is full time with typical work hours of 8-5, Monday – Friday.  Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.  

TRAVEL

No travel is required for this role.

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Experience: Require three or more years in business analysis role involving process design and software modification.  Preferably in the Automotive or Finance industries.
 

Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong analytical thought process with proven root cause analysis skills, the ability to document business rules and requirements, and an aptitude to learn quickly.

Education: Preferred – Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience; BA or Product Owner certification a plus.
