OBJECTIVE 

Responsible for the strategic delivery of marketing content and automation across email, SMS and Push Notification channels for all LeasePlan US lines of business. The Marketing Automation Manager will be responsible for helping to develop strategies delivered via email and SMS for client communications. Reporting to the Director of Customer Engagement Programs, this position requires extensive cross functional collaboration to include content marketing, product, design and insights and analytics. As our Marketing Automation Manager, you will be working closely with the Marketing team and other parts of the business to execute our customer journeys. Your core task is to develop and maintain email templates, and Marketing Automation flows within SalesForce Marketing Cloud.  

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 

Develop and execute email creative assets and campaigns. And manage the creation and execution of promotional, lifecycle, and transactional marketing programs. 

Maintain and execute on-going test/learn 

Work within Mobile Connect  

Work within Mobile Push 

Work with Stakeholders to build Journeys within Marketing Cloud 

Build Automations within Marketing Cloud to import and transform data 

Work closely with copywriters and designers to execute programs. Ensure accuracy, quality, and brand consistency in communications. 

Partner with web strategy and web development teams to optimize landing pages to achieve maximum search engine effectiveness. 

Be a SME on email, conversion rate optimization, and marketing best practices, and drive decisions based on this knowledge.

WORK ENVIRONMENT 

This is an Alpharetta, GA based position with ability to work from home. Due to the nature of the job responsibilities, ability to work in the office when needed is necessary.

 

POSITION TYPE/STANDARD SCHEDULE 

Full Time. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday; 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. 

 

TRAVEL 

No travel is expected 

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communication or related area required
  • 3+ years in marketing automation
  • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce Pardot required; Marketing Cloud and Sales Cloud preferred
  • Experience with marketing automation technology required, including development of engagement studios, lead scoring programs, subscription management, data hygiene and list segmentation and A/B testing
  • 2-4 years of direct marketing principles and a strong affinity with data and analytics
  • Fleet industry experience is a plus but not required
  • Developing and executing digital marketing campaign strategies
  • Intermediate knowledge of HTML, CSS and experience with web content management systems
  • Proficiency in Marketing Cloud, Pardot or similar marketing automation tool, certification a plus
  • Above average proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office suite
  • Basic knowledge of SEO and SEM techniques, Google Adwords, Analytics and Tag Manager
