OBJECTIVE

The Title Processing Specialist I will be responsible for the daily receipt of vehicle titles and tracking to ensure LeasePlan's interest for each asset is secure.  Assist in pulling titles as needed for other team members within LeasePlan.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Process incoming State Titles - which includes scanning and filing of titles.
  • Retrieve titles from file room when needed for internal/external use.
  • Audit LeasePlan titles and assist with research for duplicate titles or titles needing correction.
  • Audit titles for clients on Title Management Services.
  • Proofreading titles to ensure information is recorded accurately.
  • Reviews inbound requests for completeness and accuracy, records titles or deeds, orders payoffs, and prepares and distributes documents needed for title transfer.
  • Coordinates with parties to collect outstanding information, answer questions, and schedule settlements.
  • Meets KPI measurement goals associated with managing queues, RP tickets, Ops losses, escalations, etc.

OTHER DUTIES

  • Gains an understanding of the Title Management function and the role it plays in the business via trainings (online, classroom, etc) and walk-a-miles.
  • Assists others in the department and throughout Operations during peak periods and to cover absences.
  • Assist with sorting mail, imaging and distributing documents for department
  • Monitor any changes to state title formatting and work with IT to update imaging template
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITY

This position has no leadership responsibilities.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position is in Alpharetta, GA and operates in an office environment.

POSITION TYPE/STANDARD SCHEDULE

Full-time position working Monday through Friday with occasional overtime as needed.

TRAVEL

No travel is required for this position.

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • High School diploma required, but college degree preferred.
  • 1–2 years’ office experience required, License and Title experience preferred. 
  • 1–3 years’ experience in customer service related role.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Detail Oriented 
  • Ability to manage and prioritize workload effectively, use time wisely and avoid distractions to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a team environment
