OBJECTIVE

The Director of Human Resources Business Partners will be a key member of the HR Senior Management Team focused on the identification, development and implementation of programs that deliver services, programs and policies associated with recruiting, performance & talent management, company policies and procedures as well as legal compliance.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Demonstrated proficiency in policy development, documentation, and implementation with a demonstrated ability to see the big picture and provide useful and strategic advice and input across the company and on the senior executive team.
  • Identifies and implements new and improves existing HR process; monitors and measures process effectiveness and adjusts accordingly
  • Partners with Executive Leadership proactively to support HR Business Needs and initiatives
  • Conducts research to maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management

RECRUITING:

  • Establishes and manages to key recruiting metrics such as time to fill, retention, internal satisfaction, and the diversity of the candidate pool
  • Leverages data from HRMS system to measure performance against key measures and adjust approach or strategy as necessary
  • Ensures that recruiting policies and procedures are consistent with corporate strategy
  • Regularly benchmarks, using external sources, recruiting tools, processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement, increased efficiencies or better outcomes
  • Develops an overall recruiting strategy that supports the Company’s staffing needs and DEI strategy

HR BUSINESS PARTNERS:

  • Collects, analyzes, and leverages metrics - new hire/exit surveys, hiring data, pay equity, pulse/engagement results - to assess HRBP effectiveness and efforts
  • Support workforce planning efforts to ensure organizational readiness for LeasePlan global and local short-term and long-term goals
  • Ensure adherence to global HR processes and procedures
  • The Director along with their team kicks off and provides support to managers throughout the annual performance process.  Support includes
    • Performance and bonus goal validation
    • Performance appraisal process
    • Calibration sessions
  • The Director along with their team kicks off and provides support to managers throughout the annual talent development process.  Support includes
    • Creation/refresh of talent profiles in HRMS
    • Talent assessment using the 9box
    • Calibration using the 9box
    • Individual development plan confirmation
  • Develops an HR Business Partner strategy in support of annual corporate goals
  • The Director, HRBPs leads the annual company talent development process which includes identification of critical positions, high potential employees and succession plans. The Director along with their team ensures that all high potential and/or succession planning candidates have individual development plans (IDPs).
  • The Director and their team conduct quarterly organizational vitality reviews with their assigned business units to assess key areas such as turnover, DEI progress, and progress against IDPs for high potentials and/or succession planning candidates.
  • Leads the measurement, analysis and report out of employee engagement. In partnership with Senior Management, develops employee engagement focus areas. Through the HRBP team, works individually with managers to ensure team-based engagement plans are established in response to survey results.

OTHER DUTIES

  • Participates in the annual planning and management of the Human Resources budget.
  • Works with department heads to identify specific strategic HRBP and recruiting needs within each department.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position is in Alpharetta, GA and operates in a professional office environment.

POSITION TYPE/STANDARD SCHEDULE

This is a Full-time position and hours of work are Monday through Friday; 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

TRAVEL

List if percentage of travel time expected for the position, where the travel occurs, such as locally or in specific countries or states, and whether the travel is overnight. (For example: No travel is expected for this position or % of travel required.)

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Psychology, Counseling, Human Resources, Communications or related field, or equivalent experience. Master’s degree preferred.
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
  • 7-10 years of progressively more responsible positions in human resources, experience supervising and managing a professional staff.
  • Extensive experience using Workday preferred or other HRMS system; especially when it comes to reporting and analysis.
  • Extensive experience with Applicant Tracking Systems. Workday Recruiting preferred.
  • Prior experience leading high performing Recruiting and Talent Development teams.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Demonstrated ability to operate within budget.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of employment law, including ability to complete government reports correctly.
  • Strong communication (verbal, written), analytical, and interpersonal skills. Ability to organize work and priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrates a high degree of confidentiality and unusual common sense.
  • Familiar with data and HR metrics management
