ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Learns and becomes proficient in the Vehicle Acquisition system.
  • Validates and approves each order that is placed by Client Services or the customer through ePlan in the Vehicle Acquisitions system.
  • Validates and approves all upfit POs associated with factory ordered vehicles in the Vehicle Acquisitions system.
  • Makes requested and required changes to orders after approval for both vehicles and upfit POs in either our Vehicle Acquisitions system, AS400, or through Microsoft Outlook.
  • Works and resolves tickets sent through the Response Plan application pertaining to order updates, order changes, issues/ problems, or any other miscellaneous request.
  • Works with internal team members and external contacts to address/resolve requests or issues.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with upfit vendors    
  • Monitors Order Exception Queue and communicate with OEM contacts as required.
  • Reviews and resolves status issues as identified through the Exception queue or RP ticket requests.      

OTHER DUTIES

  • Obtains Upfit quotes as required for both Factory Orders and Field Installation. Works with  Upfit Specialists to create and maintain upfit specs.
  • Assists with special requests, reports, incoming calls and questions concerning vehicle upfit.
  • Gains an understanding of the Vehicle Upfit function and the role it plays in the business via trainings (online, classroom, etc.) and walk a miles.
  • Assists others in the department during peak periods and to cover absences.
  • Cross-trains in other Vehicle Management areas to include Out of Stock.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position is in Alpharetta, GA and operates in a professional office environment

POSITION TYPE/STANDARD SCHEDULE

Full time position working Monday through Friday with occasional overtime as needed.

TRAVEL

No travel is expected for this position.

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • High School diploma required, but college degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years’ experience in the Automotive industry required.
  • 1-2 years’ truck experience (light and medium duty) and familiarity with truck terms preferred.
  • 1-2 years’ upfitting experience strongly preferred.
  • 1-2 years’ experience in customer service related role required.
  • Microsoft Office experience required -  intermediate Excel skills preferred.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize workload effectively, use time wisely and avoid distractions to meet deadlines.
