Lotus Emeya

Introducing the Lotus Emeya, a groundbreaking four-door electric hyper-GT combining luxury, advanced technology, and exceptional performance for an unparalleled driving experience.

Lotus goes full speed ahead

Lotus goes full speed ahead

That legendary British car brand Lotus goes far beyond its status as an artisan sports car maker was immediately clear with the launch of the Eletre. This imposing car translates the unique Lotus driving feel to the segment of large electric performance SUVs. Meanwhile, the Eletre was joined by the equally fascinating Emeya. This hyper-GT takes on the sportiest premium saloon cars, including the Porsche Taycan and the Tesla Model S.

What does it include? To begin, the basic ingredients of any resolutely sporty car, a low centre of gravity, 50/50 weight distribution and an advanced chassis. Addition to that, two electric motors with up to 675 kW and 985 Nm and a particularly neat streamline, and you get a car that can sprint from zero to 100 in 2.8 seconds and get as far as 610 kilometres with its 102 kWh battery.

Everything for the driver

Everything for the driver

Not only is the Emeya the result of 75 years of experience in technology and design, the electric GT also boasts the latest innovations. For instance, it features electronically controlled air suspension. Its advanced sensors monitor the road 1,000 times per second and automatically adjust the suspension to ensure maximum driving quality.

You can also choose from five driving modes: Range, Tour, Sport, Individual and Track. With these, you control ride height, air suspension stiffness, acceleration response and much more. Active aerodynamics also do their bit. It not only looks spectacular but is also functional. The fold-out spoiler on the boot and the Active Air Dam under the front bumper increase downforce and thus stability when engaged, and reduce drag when inactive.

High-tech, durable interior

High-tech, durable interior

The living space of the new Lotus Emeya is a sleek blend of design, modernism and functionality. The interior is characterised by sustainable materials such as recycled cotton scraps from the fashion and clothing industry. Also the dashboard's original terrace structure, intuitive switches on the sports steering wheel and the high-tech OLED display, and you create a driving environment unlike any other.

Up front, you sit on luxury bucket seats with multiple electric controls that remain comfortable even over long distances, thanks in part to five massage modes. In the back seat, you enjoy just as much comfort and space – here as well, your back is pampered by built-in pulsating air cushions if desired! And there's no need to be frugal with luggage: the boot can swallow 509 litres.

Active aerodynamics

Aerodynamics is a balancing act between reducing drag and generating sufficient downforce. Lotus has managed to achieve both objectives using active body elements, such as the Active Air Dam under the front bumper and a fold-out rear spoiler.

Dual battery layer

Lotus has optimised the layout of the batteries in its cars, allowing 20% more cells to be packed into the same space. The battery consists of two layers with a high-performance cooling system, so that even in extreme driving conditions, such as on the track, performance is maintained.

Fast charging with 350 kW

The Emeya features an 800 V architecture, which significantly increases charging speed. Using a 350 kW fast charger, the electric GT can be charged from 10 to 80 per cent in 18 minutes. With a full battery, it hits up to 610 kilometres according to the WLTP.

Extremely fast control panel

The eye-catcher in the interior is the state-of-the-art 15.1-inch OLED display with Lotus Hyper OS infotainment system. That includes an interactive 3D screen that provides access to all functions. Thanks to Unreal Engine gaming technology, the car responds in real time to driver input. 5G connectivity is also included as standard.

Sustainability integrated

Sustainability and premium can combine perfectly. The upholstery of the Lotus Emeya is partly made of upcycled luxury fabrics based on remnants from the garment industry. Extensive use is also made of carbon fibre, such as for the bucket seats. It reduces weight, is super-sturdy and, of course, looks very sporty!
