LeasePlan and ALD are merging to become a leading global player in mobility

ALD has now obtained all the necessary approvals to complete the acquisition of LeasePlan. The last approval was obtained from the EU Commission on November 25th, 2022. The Commission's approval is conditional on the divestment of ALD's subsidiary that operates operational leasing and fleet management in Portugal, Ireland, and Norway (with the exception of NF Fleet Norway, a company jointly owned by ALD and Nordea in Norway), and LeasePlan's subsidiaries in the Czech Republic, Finland, and Luxembourg. This means that LeasePlan Norway will be included in the new group in its entirety.
