For our Privacy Officer vacancy, we are looking for a new colleague. Together with your team you are responsible to safeguard Ayvens’ integrity and reputation and to help protect against financial losses and reputational damage, to warrant and promote a full integration of privacy and data protection in daily business activities, expertise and professionalism requirements of applicable laws, regulations, good management practices and internal policies and guidelines within the entire Ayvens group of companies.
You are responsible for:
- Designing, promoting and explaining privacy related rules, policies and procedures;
- Ensuring the consistent implementation of our Privacy Policies across the company;
- Creating awareness and increased sense of responsibility for privacy and data protection related laws, rules, policies and procedures amongst management and employees;
- Monitoring and reporting on privacy risks and the effectiveness of controls;
- Being a trusted advisor for management and advice on mitigation of identified risks;
- Advising on privacy matters within Ayvens and share knowledge, e.g. for purposes of training and awareness;
- Advising Ayvens’ business and value streams about privacy compliancy and the implementation of ‘privacy by design’ in various products and services, ICT systems, platforms and apps, projects and other new initiatives especially in case processing would result in a high risk, and monitor compliance with relevant laws and regulations globally (including the General Data Protection Regulation);
- Monitoring developments, trends and future changes in the privacy environment relevant for Ayvens.
To succeed in this role, you have the following skills and experience:
- Relevant University degree;
- IAPP certifications (or similar equivalents) are a pre;
- 1-5 years working experience in privacy and data protection;
- Good knowledge of EU Data Protection legislation;
- Sound understanding of the privacy framework and (preferably) vehicle management market (international);
- Good communication skills at all levels within the organisation and with external stakeholders;
- Ability to quickly understand, analyse and explain complex topics;
- Good team player;
- Positive, innovative and enthusiastic.
