Compliance Specialist

Job Summary:

The Compliance Specialist will be part of the Ayvens Turkey Risk team. She / he is a curious, effective communicator with an enthusiasm for knowledge and continues learning. The ideal incumbent is analytical and able to relate with multiple stakeholders. We welcome compliance professionals with maximum two years of experience.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, law or engineering is preferred
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English
• Strong MS Office applications skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Analytical mindset with quantitative data research and sampling abilities
• Effective planning and time management skills
• Ability to work independently whilst contributing to the priorities of the team and the businesses

The successful candidate will:

• Conducting and approving compliance risk analysis processes (KYS/KYC/KYP) of all third parties escalated to Compliance
• Handling alerts for the third parties in the databases.
• Ensuring local compliance with legislation in coordination with the head office on issues such as Money Laundering, Combating Corruption, Gifts, Business meals and Events, Sponsorship and Donations
• Execution of periodic control tests
• Granting Compliance unit approvals for gift, hospitality, donation and event procedures.
• Managing Privacy data subject request process
• Ensuring that Mandatory Group trainings are defined for the correct target audience, monitoring and reporting training completion rates
• Evaluating Privacy and KVKK risks/clauses in all activities and contracts in coordination with the Legal team
• Managing and coordinating Group policy implementation process within the entity
• Preparation of quarterly Risk Committee and periodic reporting inputs.
