DESCRIPTION / MAIN RESPONSABILITIES  

Within the finance department of AYVENS S.A., the  Regulatory Reporting Officer will join the Regulatory Reporting team with the following attributions: 

 

  • Participating and supervising the quarterly regulatory reporting production process (shared between three locations: Bucharest, Rueil-Malmaison & Northampton), notably 

  • Coordination and steering of the Regulatory closings, including shared service center regulatory production oversight 

  • Execute accounting consistency reconciliation data quality controls & various checks 

  • Preparation of adjustments during closings 

  • RWAs calculation certification 

  • Calculation and certification of the regulatory metrics & ratios: Own funds, CET 1  

  • Control, validation, and sign off of the produced Regulatory Reports (i.e. FINREP, COREP & STE…) & Ratios (CET 1…) 

  • Lead analysis (identified moves on the groups balances from one quarter to another, shift in RWA, aggregates…) 

 

  • Contribution to various tasks during period between two closings (documentation review and update, continuous improvement, contribution to projects, trainings, audit & supervisor/regulator requests…) 

 

The following list of responsibilities is not exhaustive and may evolve in relation to the Strategic Roadmap of ALD Group 

 

 

 

Regulatory Reports production process and supervision 

 

Production executed for the quarterly closings 

  • Ensure the right preparation of the closing (templates & mapping updated, catalog ID file…), including & communications to be done with countries 

  • Execute the coordination & the steering of the closing, including shared service center regulatory production oversight 

  • Organize and execute the data collection for closings but also provide data required by other teams (i.e. ALD- BFC, Reg reports, IB3, SRF 100...) 

  • Execute the reconciliations process (RCR) 

  • Daily follow up on adjustments & preparation of adjustments 

  • Calculation of initial and residual gaps (and associated analysis) 

  • Own Fund & CET 1 calculation, certification and reporting (dashboard) 

  • RWAs calculation : Operational, Credit, Markets Risks RWAs 

  • Production of the adequate documentations in the framework of regulatory closings :  

  • Regulatory Closing Kick Off with Countries 

  • CET 1 validation committee 

  • Solvency meeting deck 

  • Assurance Pack 

  • Analysis to be led & communicated: quarterly movements/shift on aggregates, RWA, specific reports (SRF 100), Off Balance Sheet… 

  • Ensure also the coordination and the correct reportings for Société Générale contributions 

  • Review & validate the regulatory reports before their submission to Supervisory Authority (Quarterly basis) 

  • Ensure the right organization of the REX meetings and contribution to it 

 

 

Other tasks addressed by AYVENS REG team 

  • Coordination of the different stakeholders to address continuous improvements & data quality topics identified  

  • Ensure the right coordination to answer regulator/supervisor and/or internal audit or Permanent Control 

  • Update procedures or create new ones if needed but also ensure all the stakeholders (notably the shared service center) correctly update the documentation process database between two closing (with new enhancements, process changes…) 

  • Internal trainings preparation and execution to ensure good knowledge transfer within the team and for new joiners 

  • Participation & contribution to various projects impacting the regulatory department or production process

  • Knowledge of regulations (CRR 2, CRR 3,  BALE 3, BALE 4…) & regulatory reporting process  

  • Capacity to prioritize or to raise good alerts to the management

  • Have advanced analytical skills : Process analysis, data quality diagnosis, anomaly and root cause analysis, impact study and remediation plan 

  • Good capacity to coordinate and steer 

  • Proactivity 

  • Excellent proficiency in English and French 

 

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE 

  • Proven experience in Risk Management / Finance / Supply Chains / Data Governance     

  • Relevant experience within a Regulatory Production environment 

  • Knowledge in data management
