This role is within the Commercial Excellence Team of central remarketing:

  • Department Remarketing: The Remarketing department manages the end of contract, the return process and sale of used fleet vehicles, with hundreds of employees facilitating this across multiple countries. Key tasks include vehicle transport, inspection, and preparation; damage assessment; sales via auction platforms; and (in)direct sales to drivers and consumers. Remarketing also oversees the operational handling of multi-cycle lease.
  • Remarketing commercial excellence team: To achieve Ayvens’ global remarketing objectives, the commercial excellence team focuses on continuous business development and sustainable commercial growth. This is to be achieved through (amongst others) setting up long- & short-term growth initiatives, developing new & existing partnerships and ensuring customer success through seamless customer experiences and relationship development, resulting in customer satisfaction.

Scope of this role relates to

  • Business development: accelerating growth in certain remarketing sales channels through specific commercial initiatives
  • Business development international trader business: Delivering international trader business objectives in the international segment through commercial initiatives. Mainly focusing on development of the commercial activity (together with the international service center), as well as relationship management of the international trader portfolio.
  • Customer success management: Monitoring customer success across of international traders, as well as identifying the areas of improvement and connecting those with the commercial initiatives.

  • In-depth knowledge of sales: Identifying commercial opportunities and growth possibilities through knowledge of current sales processes
  • Key account management:
    • Establishing, maintaining and improving close relationship with international traders across Europe.
    • Facilitate to grow the international trader portfolio through prospection and in collaboration with local sales teams
    • Identifying commercial opportunities for the existing international traders
    • Lead the export sales chapter with the entities as the expert in international trader business sales.
  • Performance management: Highly driven to achieve company objectives through interpersonal and sales skills, as well as ability to translate achieved results to relevant stakeholders.
