We are seeking a detail oriented and analytical Senior Financial Analyst to join Finance team. Role is lying under Controlling Department.

The purpose of the role is to provide insightful financial analysis, and reporting that support strategic decisions, planning and decision making across the organization. Plays a key role in monitoring business performance, identifying financial trends, preparing forecasts and enhancing control environment to mitigate risks.

Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting: execute monthly closing process, prepare IFRS Trial Balance and relevant Business reports.  

  • Financial Planning and Forecasting: lead and support the preparation of Forecast and Budget tasks

  • Financial & Business Analysis: Track, analyze and review financial performance compared to budget and FC. Work closely with Business to ensure accuracy, data quality and alignment with KPIs.

  • Controlling: promote control procedure and ensure adherence to internal Accounting reporting manual and regulatory policies.

  • Systems and process improvement: improve financial reporting tools and work closely with Transformation and IT dpt to enhance reporting accuracy

  • Other: Participate in a variety of business projects, gather and prepare supporting documentation for external or internal audits

Relationship Management

  • Build relationships and develop trust between internal and external stakeholders.

  • Foster and improve collaboration with Central Finance

Delivering Great Service

  • Act as trusted Financial advisor to Business departments

  • Ensure timely delivery of tasks

  • Facilitate open, respectful communication and collaboration across departments

  • Promote automations and process improvements.

Qualifications:

  • 3-4 years of proven experience in similar role

  • University degree in Finance, Accounting or relevant field

  • ACCA/ ACA, part or fully qualified

  • Strong understanding of IFRS accounting standards and reporting principles

  • Excellent use of Microsoft Office suites (Word, Excel, Power Point etc)

  • Excellent written and verbal skills both in Greek and English

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle complex data sets

  • Excellent analytical skills

  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and organize workload

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
