The global and local LeasePlan Remarketing teams provide a range of end of contract process and services that results in LeasePlan vehicles being re-sold through targeted remarketing channels.

As our Global Manager Remarketing Operations, you will be part of our team (further) developing the LeasePlan Remarketing Business on a group level; including decisional tools and systems. This entails goals such as maximizing sales, profitability, and efficiency of LeasePlan Car remarketing.

Overall job purpose

  • Responsible for Remarketing operations (quality) in all 32 LeasePlan entities incl. car intake and transport & logistics
  • Enable the local operational fulfilment of the remarketing supply chain to ensure all vehicles are remarketed through their target destination in efficient, effective and commercially sound manner
  • Providing a supportive and transparent end of contract experience with a focus on damage inspection / assessment and the customer recharge process (UFWT)

Support the relationship management and supplier development of all core remarketing supplier activity (internal and 3rd parties) through good procurement and sourcing practice including mutual agreed business development plans (working with wider team members and departments where required)

Qualification and competencies

Required level of education and technical abilities

  • University degree required- in business, economics or technology fields is preferred
  • Product management experience related to IT product, preferably in Automotive business.
  • Strong interest in new technologies and supply chain management
  • Strong communication skills (ability to persuade and to make effective presentations)
  • Effective negotiation skills to negotiate with a multitude of business partners
  • Effective leadership skills related to problem-solving, decision making and team building

Required work experience

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant international working experience in a remarketing role.
  • Experience of supply chain and / or operations management (with a restless curiosity for building efficiency)
  • Capable relationship (and stakeholder) management skills
  • Experience of the vehicle finance and leasing market
  • Understanding of the vehicle repair / refurbishment environment
  • An ability to prioritize, take decisions, pivot/adjust the organizational direction based on new conditions
  • Ability to identify and solve complex operational / tactical problems across a variety of quality assurance disciplines and leads others in doing so
  • Communicates difficult concepts and complex ideas and negotiates with others internally or externally and often at higher levels to adopt a different point of view
  • You must have international experience and a passion for operations and cars.

  • English (fluent, verbally and written).
