Latest Advisory Fuel Rates and changes to Advisory Electricity Rate effective 1 December 2022

The latest Advisory Fuel Rates were published on 1 December 2022 by HMRC. They saw petrol rates drop by 1 pence per mile (ppm), while diesel remained the same and LPG rose by 1ppm.
Changes to the Advisory Electricity Rate were announced earlier but also came into effect on this date – rising by 3ppm.
Please note that the previous rates can still be used until the end of the year, as rules allow them to be applied for one month after new rates are introduced.
The new rates are:
Petrol And Petrol Hybrids | |

1401cc to 2000cc | 17 pence per mile |
Over 2000cc | 26 pence per mile |

Over 2000cc | 18 pence per mile |
Diesel And Diesel Hybrids | |

Over 2000cc | 22 pence per mile |

All | 8 pence per mile |
