Mercedes Benz EQC

Eco-friendly opulence in a compact SUV

The Mercedes-Benz EQC masterfully blends opulence and electrification while balancing athleticism with comfort, making it an attractive pick in the compact luxury SUV segment. The firstborn in Mercedes’s fully-electric family, the EQC delivers quiet, eco-friendly performance with an early, estimated range at around 320 km. Dual electric motors with a lithium-ion battery provide a total output of 402 horsepower and 561 lb-ft of torque. Sony Vision-S

The stunning EV surprise

Nobody saw this slippery EV coming— and now it's out in the wild. Built to showcase and test Sony's new connected car platform, the Vision-S wowed the global innovation stage when it debuted as a fully-baked concept EV car at CES last January.  Exploiting Sony's expertise in sensors, imaging, and entertainment, the Vision-S presents these individual technologies as a stunning, all-in-one solution—a sleek 4-door, 4-seater electric vehicle with advanced autonomous systems and a pair of 268-horsepower (200-kilowatt) electric motors. Sony claims it can accelerate from a standstill to 100 km/h in around 4.8 seconds, but it’s too soon to tell if the multinational conglomerate will officially get into the car business and put this prototype into production.
