An increasing number of new electric models find their way to the market, but often they do not fit the average employee’s budget. The new MG4 Electric is therefore a welcome addition: it offers lots of equipment, an attractive electric driving range and a snazzy look for a price-tag below €30,000.
As a subsidiary of the mighty SAIC Group, MG is no novice as it comes to electric mobility. The ZS EV was launched in Europe two years ago as an affordable, albeit not high-tech electric vehicle. The MG4 Electric, which will go on sale from the end of this year, is different. It is built on the Group’s brand-new scalable MSP platform developed specifically for electric cars. The MG4 Electric, whose dimensions (length of 4,287 mm and width of 1,836 mm) place it in the C-segment, will be the core model for the young brand.
