A fun and fast electric car with a refreshingly modest footprint, the EV6 is Kia’s first dedicated electric vehicle—and the only one with a performance-oriented powertrain option. In GT guise, it will outrun a Lamborghini Urus. Built on the same Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP) that will underpin a new wave of Kia (and Hyundai) electrics, the Kia EV6 is a small electric car with big dreams designed to inspire every journey.
Daring outside, innovative inside
An eye-catching crossover with big hatchback vibes, the EV6 is a breath of fresh air in a world full of big, bloated vehicles. From behind, it looks a bit like the Polestar 2, from the side, it’s a longer, more aggressive Ioniq 5. Inside, a floating centre console, copious storage solutions and a digitized dashboard combine to make the EV6 both high-tech and practical. Stand-out touches include a two-tone, two-spoke steering wheel, a prominent start button on the centre console, and tastefully placed gold accents throughout the cockpit. Sit pretty in recycled high-quality vegan leather or suede seats while a virtual display on the windshield guides you seamlessly and safely to your destination.
More power, more places
The Kia EV6 comes with a standard 58.0-kWh battery pack, which can cover all your driving needs. Or upgrade to the Long Range or GT model with a 77.4-kWh battery pack, for more driving range per charge—up to 510km. The 800V high-speed multi-charging system of any EV6 means you’ll find more time for what really matters—a quick charge provides 100 km in under 4.5 minutes and it takes less than 18 minutes to charge from 10 to 80%. Plus, the EV6 is equipped with a vehicle-to-load (V2L) function that works as a convenient, power supply for your daily life or as a portable generator for your wild, outdoor adventures. Available in rear- or all-wheel-drive configurations, Kia impressively claims the top-dog GT trim can sprint to 100 km in 3.5 seconds.
