How often does my vehicle need servicing?
You can find this information in the Vehicle Maintenance Handbook or at the Online Office.
When does a vehicle require the MOT?
Generally speaking, the first MOT takes place four years after registration of the vehicle, if a passenger car, and every two years if an industrial vehicle.
My vehicle doesn’t have a maintenance handbook, do I need one?
It is not compulsory to have the maintenance handbook, as certain makes and models of vehicle have on-board computers that determine when servicing is required.
Do I have to pay anything for the MOT? What documentation do I need to present?
For the MOT, you need to request this service through the Online Office (website or APP) or through the Driver Service Department
The documents required are the technical sheet and the vehicle registration document. You are also recommended to provide the insurance premium receipt because a lot of MOT centres are requesting to sight the receipt.
The driver doesn’t pay anything, because LeasePlan manages the MOT service and provides the driver with the voucher required to pass the MOT.
