Please submit your request for a vehicle purchase on the website by completing the appropriate [form](targetSelf:/en-cz/driver-services/vehicle-purchase/), however, no sooner than 30 days before the scheduled expiry of the lease. To align the lease end date of the current vehicle with the takeover date of the new vehicle, we recommend starting the vehicle purchase process approximately 3 weeks before the scheduled end of the operating lease. No permits are required for LeasePlan vehicles travelling within the Schengen Area. For travel to non-Schengen countries, it is possible to issue a certified power of attorney for a fee according to the LeasePlan price list of services. If you need such authorization, please contact your company’s fleet manager who will get in touch with the contact person at LeasePlan.
How to proceed in case of loss of vehicle documents?
Please report the loss of any vehicle document through the web form Vehicle documents and fuel cards or by calling the LeasePlan non-stop hotline for drivers at +420 296 333 666 (extension 5).
We will issue the vehicle registration certificate within a maximum of 5 working days from the date of application. We recommend that you also report this loss to the Police of the Czech Republic with regard to a possible misuse.
The proof of insurance (so-called green card) is available for download in the digital card DriverPass or you can write to us and we will be happy to send you a copy.
We will provide you with a new registration plate and all related documents within 5 working days from the date of application. During this time the vehicle is unroadworthy, so you can use a replacement vehicle (for more information see section Replacement vehicle, question How to proceed for arranging the replacement vehicle?). We recommend that you also report this loss to the Police of the Czech Republic with regard to a possible misuse, in case both plates are lost or stolen, the protocol from the Police is necessary.
The vehicle documentation (Driver set) will be issued within 3 working days.
A duplicate servicing booklet to your vehicle can be arranged in an authorized contractual servicing partner of LeasePlan.
I need to arrange a parking permit, what do I need from LeasePlan?
To obtain a resident parking permit, proof of vehicle use is required - such proof is LeasePlan’s complementary agreement, which we will send you upon request. Or you can turn to your company’s fleet manager who should be able to find it in the fleet documents.
What to do if my insurance green card has expired?
New vehicles are equipped with a printed green card valid for the given calendar year.
The proof of insurance (so-called green card) is available for download in the digital card DriverPass or you can write to us and we will be happy to send you a copy. We update the green cards for the next year automatically.
In view of the legal option to print green cards on regular white paper, insurance companies have already stopped distributing the pre-printed original green forms.
What should I do if I need an ecological pass?
Please contact us through the web form Vehicle documents and fuel cards or by calling the LeasePlan non-stop hotline for drivers at +420 296 333 666 (extension 5). We will arrange the ecological pass for you by the next working day (urgent option) or within the standard 3 working days. The cost of securing the pass will be charged to your company in accordance with the current price list, which can be found here.
How do I find out if my highway vignette is valid and until when?
The validity of the highway vignette can be checked here by entering your license plate number. If you have the highway fee service arranged in your lease contract, we will monitor its validity and extend it in time.
