Check whether your fuel card is accepted by the filling station (see question 1) and whether the card allows you to purchase the selected range of goods.
Check the validity of the fuel card and whether a correct PIN was used.
In case you can rule out the above possibilities, the card is probably mechanically damaged. What should I do if I blocked the card by entering a wrong PIN?
If you enter the wrong PIN 3 times in a row, the EuroShell and OMV Routex card will be blocked and then unblocked automatically after 24 hours without the need to report this incident.

What should I do if the fuel card is lost or damaged?

The time to issue a new fuel card is 10-14 working days depending on the type of the card. The lost fuel card is blocked against possible misuse.
How to proceed with use of the fuel card I received with my car?
For security reasons, we recommend that you do not keep PIN together with your fuel cards. If you have a temporary replacement vehicle, you can use your fuel cards to fill them up as well. You can also use your fuel card to buy operating fluids at filling stations.
