Business Lease - Contract
What if I want to cancel my contract?
If you want to end your partnership with LeasePlan during your contract, then this will incur a cancellation charge. This is the difference between the market value and book value for the car at the time of cancellation, plus compensation for the termination.
Can I have a towbar installed on my vehicle?
For Business Lease, the towbar, installation and the first technical inspection can be included in the contract with your employer's consent. In that case, the towbar becomes the property of LeasePlan and must be returned at the end of the contract.
Once the towbar has been installed, you or the installer must present the vehicle for its technical inspection straight away. If the maximum permissible load of the trailer or caravan is less than 750kg, the inspection centre will issue a certificate valid for 4 years. If, however, the maximum permissible load of the trailer or caravan exceeds 750kg, you will have to present the vehicle for inspection each year at your own expense.
What is the maximum distance that I can drive?
Each car has a limit for how far and how long it can be driven. The maximum duration for our contracts is always 5 years (60 months). The maximum distance may vary by car but can never exceed 200,000 kilometres over the full duration of the contract. With this in mind, we are always happy to discuss the possibilities with you.
What isn't covered by my lease contract?
Traffic fines and fuel.
You can order a national or European fuel card as part of your lease contract with us.
Can you still modify the duration during the contract?
Yes, you can. Bear in mind that your contract (and the monthly amount due) will then be modified as well.

What is included in my lease agreement?
- Repairs, maintenance, and tyre replacement in case of normal wear and tear
- Damage repairs
- Window repairs
- Registration taxes and road taxes
- Civil liability, risk retention (damage risks assumed by customer), legal assistance, and driver’s insurance
- The deductible depends on the model you selected
- The number of kilometres within the mileage selected mileage package.
- European roadside assistance including a replacement vehicle for five days in case of full immobilisation on the road (technical breakdown or accident).
- Replacement vehicle in case of repairs and restorations taking more than 24 hours

How can I add additional services, such as a petrol card or winter tyres?
We will contact you after you have submitted your application. We will discuss possible additional services and you can decide whether or not to add services to your application.
What are the payment options?
Direct debit from your account is the only payment option for monthly lease payments.
Important! Agreements made with your employer regarding your lease car always take precedence over our guidelines. The information below only applies when the service in question is included in your contract.
