Community
Many LeasePlan companies are actively involved in local community projects and sponsorships. And, on a global level, we are very proud to raise money to support children in less privileged countries, together with the other LeasePlan companies, under the name of LeasePlan ChildPlan.
Local sponsorship
Since June 2010, LeasePlan Corporation is the main sponsor of the new state-of-the-art
public library in Almere, the Netherlands. The sponsorship deal fits well with our aim to give
something back to the local communities in which we operate. The attraction to this particular
sponsorship arrangement was the innovative character of the new library and the ambitious
nature in the way it plans to play a central role in the local community. The library currently
receives over 800,000 visitors each year and this number is growing.
